Mark Scarbrow - Director
Having previously worked in Sales of Engineering Products and Technology Recruitment, Mark co- formed Optimum Potential, the forerunner of OSS Recruitment in 1990 with the vision of not just sending CVs in the hope of filling vacancies, but instead proactively providing a bespoke recruitment service where the requirements of employers were properly matched with the needs and aspirations of job seekers.
His time is spent leading the team, bringing new customers on board and ensuring that our services continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of our clients but his primary passion remains operating as an active Recruiter, utilising his many years of expertise to fill management, technical and senior commercial positions for a range of customers some of whom he has worked with since the early days.
He is also a qualified Careers Advisor and Outplacement consultant.

When not working, Mark is a devoted Dad and Grandad as well as a sport enthusiast. No matter how busy, he’ll always find time to discuss football and rugby in general and West Ham in particular. He can often be found behind his bar – the one that Karen built for him at home, where a wide range of beers, wines and spirits and an even wider range of dad jokes are always readily available to friends and family.
